M151 A1C - With Recoiless Rifle

The M151 A1C variant of the A1 was designed to carry a 106mm recoiless rifle mounted on a pedestal. It carried two men, including the driver, with room for six rounds of ammunition  and weapon tools. Its cruising range was about 275 miles (442 km).

The rear panel of the truck was revised to take the rifle, and the rear suspension was heavier than that of the standard M151A1. However, the M40 caused the centre of gravity to be higher, so causing the truck to be more susceptable to overturning.
